As the lead creative agency, we’ve helped to create a strong digital presence for this brand, from overall campaign strategy to online communications to social engagement. Building a community
In an era where everyone wants you to Like them, ideapark realized the huge potential of this type of social engagement. After all, Join My Village is not just about donating money; it’s also about fostering awareness for this need. Today, every thumbs-up, retweet, or share equates to opportunity for women in Africa and India. And since the introduction of this campaign four years ago, the Join My Village Facebook community has grown to over 365,000 fans, helping to donate over $4 million with just a click of their mouse.
Fine-tuning the user experience
When we designed the Join My Village website, we put a lot of thought into how to tell the stories from Africa and India, highlighting the impact, the successes, the struggles; putting human faces to a problem that’s happening half a world away. We wanted to keep the user experience simple and relatable, because if you don’t engage the consumer within the first moments, you’ve lost them.
